   Maybe if you didn’t refer to it as a fiddle, your strings wouldn’t break so much. Sorry, bad joke. =)
   You should probably look into different strings if they keep breaking on you, Dominants are pretty good. Oh, to answer your question I play for about 3 hours a day. =)

   i play almost everyday anywhere from 1 – 3 hours. Check into some different strings – a good middle of the road string is Helicore, higher end strings such as Evah Pirazzi and Obligato are great. I’d stay away from Dominants – they don’t have that great of a tone.
