Steely Dan's stuff ...
Steely Dan's stuff sound simple until you actually try to play it. For me, every time I turn around I hear something I didn't hear before.

Really nice job ...
Really nice job here! I learned how to play the drums from sitting playing to all my Steely Dan favorites. You can really hold a solid groove man!

Nice job, Stick! I ...
Nice job, Stick! I saw an interview with Rick Marotta, the drummer who played on this track. He talks about the little hi-hat lift, how he'd played it elsewhere but that the Aja engineers were the first to actually capture it. Interesting.
Peg was one of the first songs I learned when I began drum lessons in the 80s.
Totally agree you hear new stuff each time you listen to Aja's drum tracks.

Only thing baotu ...
Only thing baotu those electronic kits is that I can barely hear your "ghost" note (work)on the snare.
And the hats need to be a little more open. The slightly open hat's is the part of the kit that control's the groove of the whole song. Which I'm sure is a limit on the electronic drum setting's?
Other than that...good groove, solid!
It would sound better with natural resonance that only an acoustic kit can provide.
