Do people who learn to play violin later join the military?

Yes, I’m sure that most of you would fail to see the connection.

My husband did. I don’t see the point of this question though.

I’m sure some have. There are trumpeters and drummers. I guarantee there are violinists as well.

I wouldn’t know, I never met a single person when I was in the Aussie Army that played violin but I’ve never met anyone in any job I’ve had that played violin either.

I went through basic training at Ft Dix with a violin player who went on into the US Army and at Ft Myer, VA
